Objective
Our objective is to empower the youth by providing comprehensive support through mentorship, scholarships, and housing. We aim to foster independence, nurture potential, and build a strong foundation for their future success and well-being.
At the Lonnell Joyner Foundation, we are dedicated to adding significant value to the lives of children and youth aging out of the foster care system by providing a comprehensive support network. Our foundation offers mentorship programs that pair foster youth with caring, experienced mentors who guide them through life’s challenges and opportunities. We also provide scholarships to help them pursue higher education and vocational training, empowering them to build successful, independent futures. Additionally, we offer housing assistance to ensure that these young adults have a safe and stable place to live as they transition to independence. Through these services, we aim to equip foster youth with the resources, skills, and support they need to thrive and achieve their full potential.
